Hey there! I’ve always loved the outdoors and dogs, and Utah quickly became the perfect place for both. I originally came here for college, but it was the mountains that made me stay. Over time, this place — and the people who call it home — have become a big part of who I am and deepened my connection to nature and community.
I’ve always felt grounded in nature, and over time, that sense of rootedness turned into a lifestyle - early mornings on the trail with my dog by my side. Hiking became our shared language, and over time, I realized how many other dogs (and their humans) were craving the same thing - real time outdoors, away from pavement and distractions, doing what dogs were meant to do: explore. I believe dogs deserve more than just the basics - they deserve care, presence, and adventure.
My dog, Jude, came into my life about three years ago, and he’s been through everything with me — big transitions, quiet seasons, healing, growth. Hiking with him became a way to breathe again. I started noticing how much more himself he was when he was outside: more alert, joyful, calm, curious. It made me wonder: how many other dogs don’t get that chance? Not because they aren’t loved, but because life gets full. People get busy. Dogs age. Families go through change. The mountains can feel far away, even when they’re close. So I started inviting more pups along. What began casually - a hike here, a dog there - turned into something that fills me with purpose every day.
I’m certified in Pet CPR & First Aid, trained in rattlesnake aversion, and experienced in reading body language and energy - especially for dogs who are shy, reactive, or high energy. I’ve worked hard to create a hiking experience that’s calm, intentional, and rooted in safety. I believe dogs thrive when they’re treated with respect, not rushed or forced. Out here, they get to just be - curious, wild, and free.
When I’m not hiking with pups, you’ll find me doing something outdoors anyway - backpacking, hammocking, camping, running, or paddle boarding. I also love journaling, reading, and capturing quiet moments on film. I’m a bit of an introverted extrovert - I love connecting with others and having deep, thoughtful conversations, but I recharge best in stillness, solitude, and nature. I care deeply about what’s happening around the world and try to live in a way that’s both rooted and awake - fully here for the small things, and still paying attention to the big picture.
Outdoor Pups Club is more than a walk - it's a mindful hiking experience designed around each dog’s needs. Some pups like to wander and sniff, others need a bit more structure, and some just want to run free.
I’m Jude - official trail scout and snack enthusiast. I’ve been hiking since I was a pup, and I take my job very seriously: ears up, nose down, and always leading the way with purpose (and maybe a little dramatic flair).
I love quiet mornings on the trail, meeting new dog friends, and doing quality control on the treat bag. I’m pretty calm, a little cautious, and very good at keeping the vibe peaceful. If your dog is joining us, don’t worry - I’ll show them the ropes. No drama, no chaos, just good hikes and better sniffs.
When I’m off-duty, you’ll find me napping in the sun, keeping an eye on the front window, or waiting patiently for my mom to wake up in the morning.
Glad you’re here — can’t wait to meet your pup!
